"After spending over 25 wonderful years in the care industry, I felt a nudge in my heart to make a change. So, back in 2016, I decided to swap caring for humans and dive into the delightful world of pets! That's when Pet Sitting Broxbourne was born, and we opened our doors in February 2017.

Starting out as a little one-man operation, it’s been an incredible journey watching PSB grow over the years. By 2026, I was thrilled to have a fantastic team of over 12 amazing helpers by my side, all sharing our passion for pets.

As we continue to expand, I realised that we were ready for a fresh start, so in April 2026, we re-launched as Ace Pet Sitters. Now, we’re free to spread our wings even further, unshackled from the franchise model. I can’t wait to share this new chapter with you and your furry friends!" ❤️

Gill King

Our lovely CE-Wo, Jon’s Mum keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes and has been coaxed out of her well-deserved retirement by Jon!

As our little venture grows, the fabulous trio of Vanessa, Michael, and Phil have stepped in to take on some of the tasks that Gill used to handle. This way, Gill can enjoy a bit more downtime and embrace her new role as a “lady who lunches” and indulges in a few lovely holidays! It’s all about finding that balance, and we’re so grateful for everyone’s support in making it happen!

Vanessa Fowell

Proprietor - Ace House Sitters

Vanessa joined PSB in 2018 and heads up the house sitting team as well as working with Gill, Phil and Michael on our admin.

Vanessa is Michael's cousin and her son Keith also works as one of our helpers

Phil Duscovitch-Davis

Business Manager

Very close friend of Jon and Gill and Michael's partner. Phil previously worked for The Chamber of Commerce and Business Link as a consultant, Phil is ideally placed to manage our accounts and legal requirements

Michael Verrier

Head of HR

Phil's partner, Vanessa's cousin and another very close friend of Jon & Gill, Michael is a retired Civil Servant and lead player in many influential residents groups, Michael co-manages our finances with Phil
